This past week the Georgia Cumberland Conference and South Atlantic Conference joined efforts as they hosted a great evangelistic effort leading up to the General Conference Session. For the past six months all churches in the metropolitan Atlanta area have held evangelistic efforts. I was able to hold a series at Hiram SDA Church and Peter led one at Lakeview. All of these have been leading up to this merge session. Our two Conferences got Mark Finley to come and conclude these events downtown at the World Congress Center. All the pastors were to invite their members and interests to come to this event. Sabbath evening at the conclusion of this event, hundreds were baptized. This was great experience.
